Hey
Just wanted to say keep up the good work, not only with the day count, but getting that debt down.
Of course, with no gambling - the money will eventually sort itself out one way or another (as you find more fulfilling and less expensive ways to pass the time!) - but regardless of that, of course seeing the debt dwindle is inspiring and provides that push to keep on the path you are currently on.
I'm tracking your journey as you build up some great clean time, has been inspiring for me to get back in touch with you again, a reminder of the journey I went on, the vast amount of people that helped me through, and all the promises of a better life by people who made it coming good.
My life after gambling has far exceeded my expectations. I'm just so thankful I managed to put it behind me and live at least some of life, free of the shackles and constant misery... so will you be.

Thanks Signalman
Always great to hear from you.
As the days tick by, its saturdays that are the hardest, although there was rarely a day when I didn't get to a bookies.
Wifes away this coming weekend and planning to take myself off to the Lake District walking to avoid idle time and the risk of even thinking about racing.

Hi KS2,
A fantastic achievement no doubt about it. I know how daunting the thought of never gambling again can be & as you've explained before you don't really struggle in the short term. If temptation comes calling further down the line ask yourself how you got here. There aren't any successful gamblers on here only folk who've lost heavily. There'll be difficult days ahead & if you get to think about the buzz, excitement & how much you miss it remember this. THOSE BOOKMAKERS ARE GONNA MISS YOU A LOT MORE THAN YOU MISS THEM. They ain't worried about what you're retirements gonna be like when the time comes or your financial security. They are worried about the people who see them for what they are and denting their profits by staying away. The future's in your hands make sure things stay that way.
Well Done & Keep Going
