Day 33
Another day goes by without any urges. The main problem I'm having just now is mood swings going from being happy to annoyed in space of minutes. Bit like when I gambled. Phoning tomorrow to chase up counciliing so see how that goes but another day done.
Day 34. Friday
Very busy day had so many things to do. Spoke to a councillor over the phone gonna arrange appointments for me to speak to someone.

Another day passes without many urges. Booked a break for the family. Just to Blackpool but 5 kids under 7 Blackpool is far enough.

Day 36
Another day goes by without any urges. Back at work tonight after 12 days off so I sleep during the day which should help. Been a while since I last had an urge to gamble however I'm not getting complacent as I know they urges will come back. Hopefully hear from the councillor tomorrow. Been a good day I'm in a very positive mindset. Long may it continue.
Ohh Jamie, sometimes you just read a post that lifts your spirits & yours was a wonderful tonic @ the end of a miserable day that just caused a complete shift in my mindset! Thank-you from the bottom of my heart 🙂
I do sometimes wonder myself if I am still fighting Mr Gamble...After failing for years, I am certainly having a charmed run @ the moment & as you say, no room for complacency!

Day 37
Another day passes without any urges. Back at work last night so sleeping a good part of the day. Life is certainly a lot better not gambling. I've got money in my fiancГ©s bank (as she controls finances) and I'm spending more time with my kids. Our relationship had improved so much. When I.gambled I didn't give them as.much attention as they should have received. Now that's changed. Spare cash and better relationship with my kids. Well worth it.
Day 38
Another day passes without any urges. Guys at the table where talking about gambling but didn't bother me one bit.
Day 39
Another day passes without any urges. Almost at 40 days amazing.
Day 40
Another day passes without any urges. Now 40 days gamble free. It's amazing feeling. I'm so glad I found this website. Luckily I've managed to stop without getting into major debt. If I ever get tempted to gamble I just go straight to the new diaries created to remember those feelings.
I'm glad your getting on well with your family. Its weird how gambling can have so much affect on life and not just money.

Day 41
Yesterday was day 41 but couldn't update my diary as I lost my phone. Thankfully there are good people out there and my phone has been returned. No thoughts to gamble 41 days done.
Day 42
Another day passes without any urges. 6 weeks complete.
Day 43
Another day passes without any urges. Since I've stopped gambling I have put on quite a bit of weight. Need to get back to the gym.

Keep it up jamie, sounds like you are doing well, more time, more food, more money = weight gain, the same has happened to me, off to the gym this week to get back into shape.
