So 3 days in. I plucked up the courage to check my bank balance.....oh I wish I hadn'tÂ
After the initial sheer panic and dread. I reminded myself that I won't be going to bingo then sat and worked out the money going out. Luckily my Bills will be covered and if I do some value shopping I should be ok.Â
It's strange but nearly running out the money has really helped me want to do this.  And for once I'm not counting down the days until I can go to bingo again. That's all for now.Â

I know that feeling and like Sarah I am used to the calculator shopping, I just relapsed yesterday and joined the forum to try concour this demon. I have arranged cousiling for next week and I would like to hear how your getting on I am glad I joined here it's good to hear that we are not alone in this journey.
I was in the exact situation, blindly using my debit card for a while knowing that I was overdrawn. When I finally checked my balance and saw the damage , it scared me. I had to ask for help because I was in a mess... but it was only when it spent up that I could ask for help. And even tho it was c**P getting in that state. I'm on day 38 GF which is the longest in a few years.Â
