Early stages for me as on day 7 gambling free. Is it natural to feel like a cat on hot bricks or is this because of my anxiety issues?.. Feeling very unsettled but still determined. How I crave calm

Katiecoo,

I am very proud of you. You are doing brilliantly. It is a pleasure you being part of a team brought together by fare and with one objective in mind: to stop this gambling nonsense.

Keep going; me, and KP, are with you all the way

We are with you, supporting you, in this endeavour that is going to change our lives.

Thanks Triangle. I am trying to read a different diary each day to see both hope and despair and to find likeminded souls whom together we can move forward

Hi Katiecoo - congratulations on your Day 11! (And, I agree, let's count up those days!)

You are ticking off those days, giving the old habits the contemptous dismissal they deserve.

Fan-bl**dy-tastic !

Hi Katiecoo,

Congratulations on your first 11 (or by now 12) days!

I hope that you are finding the Forum to be a good source of support on your journey. I have moved your thread to the "recovery diaries" section of this Forum and left a shadow copy, so everyone will still be able to find it. It makes more sense as you are documenting your own recovery rather than proposing a specific topic for discussion.

Keep going, Katiecoo and all the best to you!

Gabriele

Hi Katiecoo,

Huge well done on 3 weeks and thanks for stopping by on my diary! I havent had any weird dreams but i am finding that i sleep a little better, i was sleepless worrying (...panicing !!) about my finances...things seem to have settled down...for now.

Good tactic with the tin also, i think there is a lot to be said about depositing with a card...its like not real money until it hits your bank account balance 🙁

Keep going....i'll be staying a day behind you!

We are doing great mixer. I have had some bad urges but since I shared with my family , that's all they are...urges. I would encourage any gambler to never face this alone
