Day one looking good, just need to keep my mind on the fact that the bookies always wins and betting never solves financial problems. I've put my family through a lot past year and I feel now is the time to change my ways, I'm lucky as I have friends and family who support me but I chose not to listen to their advice. I know i can do this and by sticking to a 21 step recovery plan I feel like now is the best time as the later I sort this mess the worse it will get.

Day 2 and feeling positive, actually watched some racing yesterday on the telly and didn't have an urge to gamble which proved I can do this! Realising it's all in your head is the hardest part of stopping gambling as if you want to stop you need to want to out of your own will, not because a family or friend is at the end of their tether with you. So happy I have decided to change for the better as I have my whole life ahead of me and I do not wish to spend another moment being upset for plundering any money I have on betting. I'm 2 days in to the start of a new life gamble free 🙂
