Hey Linda day 88 for you and good to see you are still a few days ahead of me. Hope your family are good and things are less stressful for you.

You sound like me, I keep saying I will start my diet again tomorrow lol! I started mine again this week and have done four days so far but last night at the rugby I was sooooo tempted to get a KFC before the match! I fought it and had a healthy sandwich instead.

Have a good weekend, keep that music blaring!

Linda

thanks for the kind words upon my thread, they mean a great deal

Glad to see you have found an even keel again and most of all are enjoying it.

My advice keep doing so!!

Dieting I am learning is a truly new beast, my love for all things sweet seems to prove somewhat difficult!! still my excuse is

Never trust a thin chef lol!!!

keep making the right choice

Thanks duncs & born- I am a slave to pizza or anything with cheese all over it!

Someone said to me yesterday "never do tomorrow what you can put off till the day after tomorrow" lol that seems to sum up my diet this last few weeks. I did lose about a stone but have another stone to go so am gonna really try to do this in the next 4 weeks. I will give it my best shot anyway and see what happens!

Inwards and downwards (diet)

Onwards and upwards (gambling)

Linda 😉

Hi Linda, sorry to read about your diet, I'm the same as you, going start mine again tomorrow, I've been waiting for the weather to get better as I usually go walking, this year I might take up running. However you are doing well with not gambling, day 90 tomorrow for us 🙂 Positive attitude works for me and whatever your doing is working for you.

Take care x

Hi baby

thanks for your comments, yes gambling is going well for us both and its brilliant that we are both almost at quarter of a year! I will also start my jogging tomorrow- ive done it before when I lost 3 stone 3 years ago and after I got pregnant again I put on 2 stone so after the first one lost now only have 1 more to go. I was so unfit when I first started to lose weight I couldnt even jog 100 yards but after 6 months I ran the reading half marathon so I know it can be done with some dedication!

why dont we both check in on each others diaries each week with a little update on how we are doing diet wise as it makes for a little distraction from always talking about gambling and it may also give us a bit more motivation to stick to it lol!

Linda

P.S I am gonna make a pig of myself today with food and wine! last day and all that!

yeah Linda that sounds a great idea, if one of us is failing we can motivate one another. If i'm doing it with someone I will be more determined not to let the other down. Today we shall indulge and sin - gluttony lol

Hey Linda

Happy 90 day eve!! Another milestone tomorrow!!

I wouldn't mind losing a bit of weight myself - lost a lot pre-stopping I think due to stress of separation and financial concerns.......or just forgot to eat while "in the zone". Don't miss that in the slightest and find myself enjoying food more now too! I guess that doesn't help!

Wish I could get into running again - just don't seem to have the energy at the moment.........a shake is what this man needs! Lol! Another problem is that I'm so determined to get past babybluesky on Candy Crush that I use spare time to do that - lol!!

Congrats Linda on being amazing........hopefully you're feeling better than the last few weeks!

Speak post update tonight.........I need to change the time of it for final deadlines - taking too much of my Sunday night when I could have got it done this afternoon!

Speak soon girl!

Mr Bxx

Hi Linda,

I am really pleased that you are feeling so much better within yourself.

I know what you mean regarding diet, I really need to lose a couple of stone but there is always one excuse or another. I will start tomorrow but then by the end of the day something happens and I eat something I shouldn't lol

Well done on day 89 you are doing so well and are a inspiration to the people who are just joining this journey.

Take care and keep strong

LG

thanks guys- well look ive just had an awesome bacon baguette and on the tail end of a bottle of wine but tomorrow I will kick some diet a** lol! I am looking to knock between 2 & 3 lbs a week so check in next Monday morning with the amount of weight that we lose for week. I am gonna stay under 1200 cals a day and do half hour exercise a day and that should do it. In 4 weeks I should lose anywhere between 8-14lbs depending on how strict I am. I promise to give it my very best shot- its only a month and will make a huge difference if I can do it! xx Not only that but I am hoping to have hit my goal of target weight on my 4 month GF anniversary! x

Hey Linda, I have been reading through your diary and I'm hoping I will be in the same position as you in another 85 days. It's been a difficult 5 days with the weekend in the middle, but it's been a result. I have come clean with my wife on my problems and also been quite honest with amounts of debt, well just about...She's super supportive and understanding. She's got all my cards except my debit and Amex card which I need for work, but she has access to my online banking to monitor. I have started my diary in here and it certainly helps. I have made sure to visit this website when having any sudden urges and I have probably spent the best part of 6 hours during the last 5 days reading through different diaries.

Today and this evening is a huge test for me because I'm on business in Glasgow. Normal scenario would be leave the office and straight into the bookies for the evening. I would normally take advantage of my trip because I wouldn't have to explain where I am to the wife.

I have had a couple of urges, but I'm trying to remember the last time I was here and how much I lost, and how much it hurt.

I'm taking so much positives from people's stories and this will inspire me to kick this...

Right, out for some dinner and back to the room to watch TV and a gambling free evening.

It's tough, but certainly worth a life without more of this!

Well done Linda three months is some achievement! Keep it up you are doing so well and must be experiencing so much positivity in your life. Not long now and you will be up to three figures. Glad to hear how you have dealt with the races today. You can't make it on Friday, but I want to see you next January when we are all celebrating completion of this challenge!
