13 days without gambling. Yesterday got paid (been given pay rise without asking!!!) and not once did gambling enter my mind. Got my 1st meeting today with the Councillor, bit nervous as I don't know what to expect. I feel better about myself since I contacted gamcare, and the days have been getting easier, all in all I'm glad I made the decision to seek help, and admit I have a problem with gambling.

have a good weekend everyone!!!

Well day 15, and not a single thought of gambling all weekend. Sister-in-law come round with her boyfriend and he was showing me his football bets, I had a look, but the addict part of my brain didn't react, I didn't think.... Oh id done that!!!!! I just looked at it and said, hope it comes in for ya. Had my 1st counciling session on Saturday, and talking away (as I do!!) I realised that I have a OCD like way about me, and everything has to be planned in advance, and I don't like change. This would be true to the gambling. I'd get up every morning and look at the dogs for the day, I would phone my bookie mate everyday at 12:30 to place my bets. These are little things she picked up on,and the more I think about it, the more I can see it in my WHOLE daily routine. And gambling was a big part of it......

BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!
