64 days gamble-free and it feels so good !!
After years and years of playing slots/bingo and not being able to stop, I find it easier not gambling at all.
I cannot win because I cannot stop.
I have taken all the help I have been given in counselling and now face up to people instead of going into a zombie state on online gambling sites. I no longer tell people what I think they want to hear.... I tell them how it is.
I wake up early and refreshed - no longer tired all the time. My head is clear and I am going to keep it that way.
No more wasted time and money on gambling, not even the lotto. I won't even play cards or monopoly. Given up completely.
Elfie - I am really looking forward to this Christmas.... we started this journey together and we should have approx. 6 months clocked up by then.

I wondered how you were. 66 days is amazing. Well done you.
I am now on 56. The time is going quickly (too quickly at my age) but when I think how I was 57 days ago I realise that life can be good again.
This will indeed be a wonderful Christmas for us.
The support and encouragement and the bonds forming on this site are amazing. We are all stronger than we thought we were.

Your story sounds similar to me. I too was slots and bingo. It became my self destruction. I had no voice just would swallow up everyone else's opinions say what they wanted to hear all for a quiet life then run home amd destroy myself with every penny i could get my hands on. I'm only at day 34 ish and I'm finding my own voice. It feels good. Stay strong have a great day!! Xx
