Well done cody84. Great achievement and U should be really proud of yourself. I read one of your other posts that I read comments on here every night-I too do the same and find it really helpful to know others are getting through this. Keep it up.

Thankyou. Tomorrow will day 9 that's the longest amount of time I won't be gambling for in 3 yrs!
I come here now every time I feel the urge to gamble and it's helping. I never knew how much a forum could be a life line. I'm sure I'm going to have really bad days ahead but for today I'm feeling positive

Well done Cody, proud of you, there’ll be withdrawal symptoms as with anything. Get through it and set yourself small milestones, spending on a couple of things always helps as well!

My biggest worry at the moment is hitting my next pay day. I knew I've be hard for money this month but what do I do pay day. I will potentially have my full wage which I've not seen for years. How do you overcome that. I've spoken to my hubby but to be honest he don't see my gambling as an issue and I don't think he believes it's an addiction. He sees it as my vice in life as I don't drink etc. This is because I'm not in debt and I've always paid the bills.

Would recommend trying to put as much money on to something in the future that you’ll need or buy something on finance that you will need and want to pay that off quicker. That’ll help you not waste your money. Also try and see if you can transfer money over to the husband to look after.

Well done Cody - I have the dilemma with money as this make me feel like gambling when I can access cash, how I deal with it is pay all the bills for month on pay day, and then try and only carry what I need / if you have a savings account with time delay access / no card is also good, stops rash decisions! Good luck stay gf
