We can both stay strong after pay day and both get two months under our belts

Day 36
Yes, dreaded payday looming, not really got a plan for shifting the money to CCs or similar. Also, I have a few days off this month, need to think of something soon.
Your doing well.
Post 43 sums it up nicely, takes a while to sink in though.
More than a 3rd of the way to your first target 🙂
Day 39
New addiction is overpaying debts. I was paid on Thursday, despite not having any urges I decided to pay more than planned towards debts (again).
I will still have a large chunk of cash in bank over the weekend as I am waiting for DDs to trigger. However, money in account is earmarked for bills. I will leave that money alone. I will not have a gamble because I am bored.
Having money is a hassle.
Hi,
I just thought it was me that thought money was a hassle. Today I had £100 to buy some things we needed. Will be glad to hand the change back and get back to living without direct cash.
Well done on day 39 and fab news about overpaying the debts. Good on you.
Best wishes
Yes, I look forward to being able to manage having money in my current account without needing to move it on.
This month, I need to keep a large amount of cash in account for a couple of weeks as I have outgoings later in the month that need to be paid in cash and I have a week off work too. Need to be strong.
Yesterday, I went to take £20 from cash machine and withdrew £300 without thinking. Beforehand I had no urge to gamble and I was angry with myself for taking that much money out for no sane reason. Walked past bookmakers with the money staying safe in my pocket.
Recently, I have been travelling with all my cards again. Need to prepare for failure (I will not fail!).

It can happen that easily. Well done on getting through it that day!
The 2nd credit card has now been officially closed 🙂
Two to go 🙁
[ 9,900 > 9,200 ]
Day 40
Day 50 reward will be a new video game.
Day 42
I was tempted to walk in bookies and watch a race but I stopped myself just before walking in. Not at good idea and a pointless exercise that can only lead to me gambling again.
I went and bought a few things including a video game I was going to reward myself with on Day 50 🙁
Day 43
CC has taken a bit of a beating the last couple of days. When I think about gambling I seem to get a little enjoyment from overspending, usually I shop around for the cheapest item.

Well done keeping away. Enjoy the video game 🙂
Day 44
No gambling thoughts today.
Affected by gambling?
