Slowly pushing...in order to reborn you have to die spiritually.
I truly hope i am finally here, giving my soul away in return of new possibilities.

Hope work was not too taxing 😉
Keep walking V, (and talking of course), middle lane...the safest place to be ☺

volcano wrote: More thoughts regarding support. I was only half right in the post before last. A nudge is good but a direct hit with a big hammer is better! An arm around the shoulder is also good.. So lesson learned today after near on 25 years, that I only got it a 3 Rd right. Had a controlled explosion earlier. For about 10 sec I felt bad, then I thought! Why, I was right! Now that's progress..

Hi volc, keep reflecting, learning and growing and you won't go far wrong.

Crumbs! You have had an emotional few day. I hope things went well today and you are feeling upbeat about the weekend ahead. I think we gamblers are naturally predisposed to impatience. Action takes time and in the meantime our brains do somersaults and backflips. Chin up. Jx

Julie, somersaults and backflips is sure a good way of describing our minds, a perfect circle sombresault and now back on my feet, snapped out and chin back up so thanks. LB, my friend another superb post and agreed but dont really know why i went of on that tangent and i hope you fed that pony well? Tri, slowly looking again at the thresh of GA thanks to inspiration like your goodself. Bad cop CW ( the female Dan ), thanks for that post, i'll post more....... Phew, oh and thanks to my other friendly cyber props to keep me on my feet..

Could be your getting stuck in theory. Finding out what drives us towards addiction is great, but without action to change it tends to just make you even more frustrated. Real hope with Real action will serve you well. Hope without action will leave you stuck where you've always been. Hopefully the therapist will kick start the feel-good factor again Paul. Wishing you well

Dan, i completetely agree and think your also seeing through my posts what im struggling with in regards to change and denial. That could be the nudge i needed. Real Hope with real Action, the action is running at about 50%, which is good for me but like at school, i could always do better!! Your a clever man and thankyou....

Just up after a Rip Van Winkell night, i always tend to do that. Live on a few cat naps for a month or so then bang Zzzzzz. Somethink i need to somehow regulate.

Yesterdays interview was the most bizzarre i've ever been on. A high spec house fit for a sultan at the gates of Londons nicest park. 90 min interview, pi.ssed the 1st 85 mins and blew the last 5min with the hr man as i realised the PM wasn't the man he told me he was. Interesting experience none the less. But, none the less the sun did shine yesterday and my circle slowly awakening, so i think i've nudged closer... TBC...

A +1 added yesterday and nodoubt +1 added again today....

Somethings working with the therapy and i'm enjoying what ever it is. Didnt really take many trips in my young 2 hand days but this latest ' therapist ' trip a good and colourful one. So all is good there. It's good to talk! they said thatsome where, and its so true...

Now to slowly start my day and kickstart my now infamous painting project.Kudos to any painters and decorators.....

I have to sell the sausage not the sizzle.....

Heard that line a couple of years back. Three interviews in the next 24hrs, am banking on the 1st one to come in... shoot, i'm not supposed to talk like that!!

Am edging closer to work or sat next to a ATM, time will tell....

Donovan eh? Thanks for that...going to have that tune going around in my head all day now! I'd try his cross legged pose but I'm worried I'd get stuck.

Good luck with the interviews. Getting the sausage/sizzle balance right can be difficult. You have to have a bit of bravado, but at the end of the day it's down to how well you can do the job that matters. My understanding is that you're pretty good in your field, so know that and own that...then (without too much sizzle) let them know that too.

And yes, I'm off to feed the pony x

Hey V,

No offence taken from ur vid (grrrr...how dare you!!! Lol..don't you realise we have Charlies angels, three musketeers and many more fighting spirits on here lol..if i were you, i would watch what you saying :-D...) loved that vid and sure somebody send it to me before :-/ ..maybe trying to say something lol

Hey, those interviews never stops coming huh! It's a good sign you know, cause each and every one of them is boosting your confidence and letting you practice for when the right job flies by!)..i best kick start my search cause i think i will be facing a written warning when bk in my dark prison :-(...but, coward way out is needed sometimes if you feel like you reached your limits (aha - limits right...know your limits 😉 )

Later and look after yourself

Hey jiggy, ;)) lol, lol, lol, for your post, wouldn't be st all surprised that I have written,( if that makes sense countless times:)) ohh lol because wasting my time, getting into 25000 plus debt, deep frying my brain to a pulp, giving nothing but heartache to my OH, still does not make the slightest bit of sense ;))

I hope you moving OAU nice and slowly but surely my friend, you are really worth everything life has to offer, and that you get that job you are after:)), listen OH and I have been deep in painting all weekend too )) nothing changes if nothing changes, lol, time to paint the house so we can eventually sell it, and also time to change our estate agent ;))

Keep pushing and keep winning, stuff happens when we least expect it,

Laters

Suzanne (Queen of if that makes sense) highly honoured my cyber friend :))) xxxxxx
