Hi Friends

Still not 100% but definately up for the fight for this week ahead, one day at a time. Gambling is the furthest thing from my conscious mind at present but need to be on guard just in case. No significant occurences over the weekend. Hopefully found some calmer waters for a while. Take care

Cheers for the message

Maybe cheers was not appropriate when we are talking about alcoholism lol

Hope you are feeling better this week, and back to full strength . There I go again.

Take care Smiler, try not to work too much over the weekend.

That's it DF rub it in why don't you! There's you off on holiday resting up and relaxing and I'm out working like a loon ball!

Seriously I am feeling a bit better but not 100%. No gambling thoughts at all and trying to wean myself from keeping up a diary just to see if I can cope. If not I'll keep it going. I still read a fair bit but not writing as much!

Take care

Thanks Elizabeth

One of the mysteries for me is Man Utd go top of league and for the life of me I am dying to know what the odds are for the title. Why I don't know as I would never bet on it anyway as it isn't a fast enough hit. Maybe just a control thing I'm not sure!

Just going through the motions of life and booked a holiday today along with bought new car delivered next week. Staying away from gambling sure brings rewards. Just for me I don't like to call it recovery anymore as I am out of the mode of being a victim I am now surviving. Hope everyone is staying away from the demons.

Take care

Hi

Good for you, it is great to see that all your hard work is paying off. Both as a survivor and in your business.

Can not think of any one who deserves it more.

Take care

Not sure what has happened but a major shift in my thinking has made me realise I am no longer in the throws of gambling/not gambling. I am now a person that does not gamble. This forum has a been a major part of the process and everyone on here has helped me greatly. I have struggled to get to this point and will keep maintaining this feeling without getting too complacent. At present I feel very strong but I'm not daft enough to think I am safe. If you are new here give yourself time to heal and take it easy. Thanks all and take care
