Hi, So my story I’m 20 years of age, I’ve been gambling since I was 18. The usual story really started off low stale sports accumulators then turned into betting on any sport that I could and the stakes rose, I chased losses. Luckily I aren’t in debt and I’m getting paid a lot of money for my age, that’s why I’m on this site I want to stop and not lose what I have. I also want to stop all the mental effects gambling has on me lack of sleep anxiety etc. I have got a friend to remove the last three digits on the back of my card, I have signed up for GAMSTOP. I have installed Gamban on my phone. Reading stories here of people who are a lot older than me and seeing how long they have gambled and what effects it has on them, has really hit home, I want to stop this addiction before I ruin my life.

Hi RT,

Thank you for your advice on my diary. It has been really helpful in asking me what my stressors are that ends up with me gambling.I have thought long and hard and come up with answers and solutions. I hope you are having a good day. So glad you have caught onto your addiction early on and at a young age. You have a great life ahead without gambling.

Best Wishes Tara20
