(Football betting) I was bet free for over 6 months and the urge to have a bet never went away.В

I only have a problem with sports betting. Casino and games I'm fine with. They don't interest me. It's only sport I have problems with.В

Football in the UK is everywhere. You can't escape it. You watch a game and see 10 adverts in an hour. I felt better not betting but I was so bored.В

I think that's a major downside to quiting...the boredom. Nobody likes to be bored and I find watching football without a bet is usually boring. There was no excitement. Nothing to look forward to. Where I live there's nothing to do. I have friendly bets with friends but not regularly and it's impossible for me to get addicted to those.В

Anyway, I had a bet for the first time in over 6 months tonight and it won. Even though it won I am withdrawing all the winnings and closing the account I just opened.В

I'm annoyed I've lost my no bet streak but I'll get it back. I genuinely feel like I have got that urge to bet out of my system. I don't want to go down the road I went down before. I won tonight but I know I won't win overall.В

I tried to kid myself and say I'll limit myself to £20 a week on the Saturday 3pms but I know I won't. I am not going down that route again.В

It's a relapse but I'll be ok, it's all part of the learning.В

I'm the same casinos don't bother. Me but tennis and football are the two worst sports I bet on. I admire you for not spending what u won
