Well this is my day 6 of no gambling!
I had a very big wobble after my last post and spent my rent money which was £1270 on the online slots.
I thought that my life was over! Everything I had dreamed of gone in a matter of hours. I thought I had thrown my degree away! And that I was going home.
Somehow though, I won it all back and a little bit more. I then confessed all to my housemates who have been brilliant. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them!
I think for me nearly losing it all, made me wake up and smell the coffee! And think logically about what I was doing.
I have never felt so good! I finally feel free!
I'm on controlled access with my phone/laptop at the moment which has really helped.
My plan for now is just to keep going! And take each day as it comes.
Well day 7 has started well, I've been to uni and I'm feeling really positive!!
Well done pinky..I'm only day 12 but just wanted to say good for you...you got whole life ahead of you and will have a better one gamble free...we can beat those dam slots xxx
