Good day yesterday, finished work got home for 6 , Gym, watched a film then bed , first day in a long time that I didnt visit an online bookies.
Day 14 £98.00
Another gamble free day, two weeks so far. I do sometimes feel to have a bet but then remind myself its not worth it.
Day 15 £105.00
Thanks, I will try.
Find it much easier when there is no football on, not interested in International games.
One day at a time.
Not much to add, no temptation at all yesterday.
My last day of gambling just over two weeks ago I turned £10 into £100 in a day then lost it all in an hour due to chasing. I keep telling myself that will always be the way, the big advantage bookies have online is they have no emotion. If we win 5 or 6 bets in a row it doesnt bother them but the second we lose 2 or 3 it all goes down hill and the chase and inevitable loss happens, I just keep reminding myself of that and it puts me off gambling.
Day 16 £112.00
Day 17 £119.00
Few temptations last night watching England game. Massively helps being self excluded from so many online sites. My girlfriend is more on my case now every time she even thinks I am gambling, I kept it from her for a while but having her now how serious it can get helps me stay away.
Day 18 £126.00
No football of interest yesterday so easy day with no temptations.
Day 19 £133.00
Kept busy last night after work, gym and started new tv series. While I was gambling its all I would do in my spare time, I just need to keep coming up with ways to keep busy.
Day 20 £140.00
Couple of temptations whilst watching the England game last night but stayed away, would have lost anyway what I would have bet on.
For me over the years having a bet has just added the bit of extra thrill to watching a game but its not worth it and slowly getting used to that.
Day 21 £147.00
I would install Gamban on your computer and phone, also hand over your log in details for app stores to your girlfriend and she can change them or put an adult protection in place. You should not definitely be checking odds, and Gamban will mean you can’t access any gambling sites, it has definitely helped me. Only new here but will post my story up when ready to do it, but hope this advice helps.
Hi Lewis,
Briefly looked at gamban. Will look more into it tonight. I tried betfilter in the past and it was good in terms of blocking gambling sites but it also blocked other sites nothing to do with gambling so that became annoying and got rid of it in the end.
This would all be so much easier if banks would just block transactions to do with gambling if requested, its getting worse each year for everyone and dont know why this isnt available yet
Hello CM3003,
There are a couple of banks which aim to block gambling transactions - these are Monzo and Starling. This is provided for info, not recommendation.
Best wishes,

Thanks for that, I heard of Monzo blocking gambling transactions was just a bit dubious as they are not very well known, will look more into it.
No temptations yesterday, making more effort in the gym to keep myself busy.
Day 22 £154.00

Day 23 £161.00
