Hi Blondie,

Glad to hear you have a supportive team around you at work, don't be afraid to use them when you go back. It's not going to be easy having been off for a little while, but you're tough enough to get through this in the right way.

Thanks for your support,

All the best

Ryan

thank you so much everyone for your posts, i will do my rounds later on.

No gambling to report, my recovery is so important to me and i am never going to jeopardise that, well not today anyway.

Sooooo its D day tomorrow mum is having her lumpectomy on her breast im so scared and nervous about it and will be glad when its all over as with her heart attack there is a bigger risk when she is under general anistetic.

I am staying strong for my mum but paddling like billiooooo on the inside.

Tonight I will ask my Higher Power to give me the strength to get through tomorrow and to look after my mum.

Take care all

Today i didnt gamble, I had lots of urges today as i was at my weakest thinking and worrying about mum, but i know how my urges work now and today they didnt win, I WON.

Just been to pick mum up operation went well and she is upstairs in bed , I will be nurseing her for as long as it takes.

We dont know if the cancer has spread she will go back to the clinic in a weeks time, Like most things one step at a time but today was a big step out of the way.

thank you so much everyone for all your kind wishes and posts, your support has been unconditional and i really appreciate it.

take care
