Blondie.

Good to see your taking full advantage of all that is on offer through abstinence.

That is living!!

And some ink too boot.

Those urges can f**k off!!

Be proud, your jar of golf balls overflowing.

One day i would love to share one of those beers.

Thank you everyone for the posts

First week back in work done and dusted, its amazing isnt how we think we know how something is going to be and actually its nothing like what we made up in our heads.

Another lesson to just stop predicting the future, live in this day only because thats all i have.

No gambling no thoughts, no urges, Well on way to my targets this month, i have ran 4 times this week and am building up distance each time, I am determined to finish the race for life as opposed to collapsing over the line lol.

Weather is fantastic, have a brill sun tan already and will be topping that up this weekend.

Life is good, and for once im not waiting for something to go wrong...

Enjoy the sunshine everyone

take care

Blondie

glass half full, you enjoy it

through this year you have had so many things to focus upon, things that have tested your resolve, rather than break it, i have just seen it become stronger.

That stick that beat you, is yours to hold.

One day at a time. It's all that matters.

Glad work went well, it's amazing the energy we waste worrying about things that never happen.

Envious of the tan tough as just burn up in the sun. Hope race goes well and you leg is fully recovered now.

Good luck with the running I am sure if you put your mind to it as you have with the gambling there will be no collapsing over the finish line for you.

blondie

thought of you today, i managed to walk a bit with Sarah and the hounds and there was a lass passed us twice running circuits if the field, funny the dogs joined her, well they showed her how to really run lol. she was clad in pink, the correct colour for your run if i'm not wrong.

inwardly i allowed myself a smile.

on the run i would love to add our name as a sponsor, if you pass me some details i couldn't think of a better way to gift those less fortunate than myself.

Just a quick one from me as i seem to think about gambling less and less as each day passes, Life is good, No urges, Feeling really up beat even starting to plan my wedding .... still sounds weird.

I am having a drink for life party at my house this satuday lol... it basically a big P*** up where all my friends pay 5 quid to get in and i provide food and entertainment and the money taken on the door is dontated to my race for life which i am doing on the 14th july.

I thought it was primative but an effective idea lol....

Life is good and i still have to kick myself to enjoy it.

thank you so much for the posts all.... 14 months gamble free next week .... Yeeeeeee Haaaaaaa.....
