Hi Blondie... hope your enjoying your camping. I use to go every year as a kid with "canvas holidays". The tent was already set up so all you had to do was arrive and pile in. As a kid I enjoyed it but as you say as an adult its nice to have creature comforts. The cottage break sounds perfect!.. Well done on your gamble free time.. S.A 🙂

Two weeks off you lucky girl. Brilliant. Have a great time. I love a bit of camping, I think a hotels lovely but going on holiday in a caravan or tent and you really feel like your on holiday, it's so different, a proper break from the norm. I haven't been for years tho. Why? Because of bloody gambling. Anyway lets not go down that road on this lovely Friday. Have a great holiday. Hope you like the world of camping.

Thank you so much for the posts everyone.

Fantastic holiday and lots of memories and laughs to add to the memory bank, it was amazing to see my daughter challenge herself as we tried so many things and I was inspired by her steely determination to challenge herself, I did something right then lol.

Nice and refreshed and ready to go, no gambling thoughts what so ever whilst I was on holiday yet last night they were coming thick and fast, crafty and sneaky addiction that this is.

Will catch up with everyone once I have a little more time.

Today I will continue to push gambling further Nd further away from my life so I can carry on living.

Take care all

Blondie xxx

Oh my dearest Blonde One,

You have obviously had that one in the bag for many a month... waiting for the right moment to smite me down. lol.... made me smile :O)

As I have said.... I read every day.... and I mean every day. But not sure that posting like before is good for me... but then again... as I say not sure. But like many advise... I stay close to this forum, and post now and again, usually after have a couple of sweet SC's... tonight being a good example.

Glad to see you continue on your road to more and more happiness.

Have you read much Terry Pratchett yet? Does Nanny Ogg still reverberate through your bones? Did you do any dancing on tables during your recent holiday .. for example?

I can see you are well and I am so happy for you.

Jon

PS:It looked like the sort of book described in library catalogues as "slightly foxed", although it would be more honest to admit that it looked as though it had been badgered, wolved and possibly beared as well.

-- Ah, but has it been hedgehogged?

Hi Blondie... glad you enjoyed your cottage/caravan holiday. Who wants to ruff it in a tent anyway? 😉

I guess its no surprise that the transition from something nice back to the normal would give rise to a few thoughts of dancing with the devil. But as you suggest, they will pass soon enough. Thanks for your support. Regards... S.A 🙂
