day 101 & 102.

Been so worried the past few days with woody, but i can go and pick him up later today, they cant see any fracture but they will send the x-rays off to a specialist to see if there is any boney tissue growth (no idea what that is) or arthiritis. He has to have complete rest for a week and take his drugs lol... Poor little man hes not even 1 yet i hope hes not going to suffer with arthritis.

No thoughts of gambling, just a bit fed up at the moment.. But like most things it will pass.

Hope all are well and gamble free thanks for all your posts.

Hiya Blondie..

Thinking of you and Woody.....and know he will get the best treatment..

Im sure he will be ok and I know some things are breed specific ...in russells skin problems are common and Dot gets treated for that since a puppy.

I know you will be anxious til he is home and wish I could take that away but in the meantime sending good local thinks from up the road as am working in manchester today .

Hello lovely, so sorry to hear about Woody. Can't pretend to know anything about dogs (rodents on the other hand!) but I really hope he mends quickly poor thing. I know what it is to your heart stolen by an animal (in fact the reason we are pet-less at the mo is because my heart needs a rest) so big hug from me and please be kind to yourself, after the last week or so you are bound to be fed up. Like I'm sure you've said to me before though just as things can turn bad in the blink of an eye they can pick up almost as quickly - 'this too will pass'. x

Blondie,

I felt for you when I read your post, as you may remember our "hovis" 5 weeks ago ran into a parked collie!!! and was whisked to the vet, to which we thought a fracture would be the outcome, after x rays and a pyhsical exam,we were given the same drugs (liquid in his food) and told to give him a weeks rest(good luck LOL ) and went back to be given the all clear, our vet told us that as a whippet he will want to run ans like all kids (11month) he will have accidents, And as to the arthritus, he may well suffer in later life as before we rescued him he broke his hind leg and the joint has healed but will inflame, to boot insurance is impossible to get so we have opened an Isa for him to cover for these things.

Yesterday our hovis was quiet all day we thought he was looking out for his pal Woody!!

To which i end we a big get well messege and hope woody is back to full health soon.

Duncs stepping forward never back.

Hi Blondie..

Thanks for posting and guessing your with woody and giving him lots of soft hugs.

I hope he stops crying and it must be heartbreaking to hear him and not know what he needs...

Im wondering where he is sleeping as guess which madam is always in the bed..head on pillow!

Hopefully the vets will come up with some more answers for you so at least you know where to start...

Wishing you a restful night......not sure how you feel about the flower "rescue "remedies but I know some folk swear by them for animals ....its not really my thing but people do say they work for trauma and are safe to use alongside meds...

Take care Blondie...

hugs
