....brilliant news for Woody ...xx.

It's at times like this you wish you could be Doctor Doolitte..."talk to the animals.".

Take it easy Blondie and as he is eating again that sure is a good sign.

Day 103.

Was supposed to be going to Audley end house tomorrow for a picnic and 80" concert and had planned to take woody with me to my BF brothers but have had to cancel and dont think i would be able to sell the tickets on so will lose the money, woody is turning into an expensive aquisition but im not complaining hes worth every penny.

Off to the vets again later with him he has stopped crying now but isnt really eating anything and for a labroudour i suppose thats not good.!! Poor little man! On the plus side his leg seems ok and he is walking on it but trying to rest him is turning out to be difficult.

So its a rest weekend for me with some olympics thrown in i think, its been a stressfull last few days with the woody saga and my dads birthday lets hope the vet can tell me im just panicing and charge me a few more hundred quid for the privalage lol.

No thoughts of gambling and no intentions on acting on any if they should appear. My life is so far removed from it now and thats the way it will stay. Havent been to G.A for a few weeks so a concious effort to go next week.

only a couple more weeks in work and then 2 off which im looking forward to, things have settled down slightly with my boss im not letting him get to me and if he wants to do something or change something then thats up to him, I will just get on with what i do and leave him to it.

Onwards on upwards need an injection of energy and enthusiasm from somewhere not sure where that will come from and just going with it for now.

Thanks for all your posts and messages everyone. Have a great weekend.

Day 104 & 105,

Nothing much to report gambling wise, no urges no thoughts just getting on with life without it. Seem to have lost a little enthuusiasm for my diary and i dont know why.

Pretty quite weekend watched the olympics yesterday was glued to the screen and very proud to be british, it seems that it has brought such and injection of positivity and feel good factor to the whole of the country which can only be a good thing.

Off to mums later for sunday dinner, woody is still on rest his leg seems fine but i dont want to push it, he has improved since starting his anti-biotics for his stomach upset, so all good there.

Didnt make my concert which was a bit gutted about but hey ho such is life.

Hope all are well and enjoying the weekend.

hiya Blondie...

Glad woody is on the mend and that you are having a quiet one this weekend.

Wouldn't worry about your diary...you've probably plateaued after a steep climb and getting on with living... : )

Have a good roastie at your mums ..

Nearly had to phone the vet too this morning but all ended up ok.Dot swallowed a load of fluff from her tennis ball and ended up having a choking/ asthma like fit for about 15 mins.

Hey hun, was just popping by to see how Woody was getting on, glad to see he's on the road to recovery now.

Obviously I'm not anywhere near as far into recovery as you so I might be talking rubbish but maybe its just that you've reached a point where you don't need your diary in the same way? If your head is calm and you're feeling settled there isn't so much to 'get out' maybe. Everything changes. x
