Keep up with the positive progress, you may have had the interest to watch poker, but the important thing is that you resisted and didn't actually give in and try to go any further. Already edging towards a month without a bet, keep it up and keep checking off those landmarks!

Thanks Ryan. Catching up on people's diaries. Day 28. I love the idea of getting a new debit card and getting my partner to rub off the three numbers on the back. I have no credit cards etc. Had 15 and put 150000 on them but that was 10 yrs ago. As a addict I'm going through all the reasons I can't.

Better to ramble than gamble.
Going a month without gambling is a very good start Stewpots, and it is definitely better to talk it out rather than let the frustrations and thoughts build up and become niggling temptations once again.

Got a lot of anger coming through against my partner. Day 33
Things better on the home front. Not much else to say
Decided to go to my first GA meeting on tuesday. I have so much anger and im not sure if its GA related.
GA is a good move go with an open mind and see where it takes you.
Looking forward to first GA meeting tomorrow. Day 40. Kept busy over bank holiday weekend. However i need blocks put in place on computer.
Been to first GA meeting, many more I hope. Day 41 today

Well done Stew, pleased you found the courage to walk through them doors, not easy but worth going outside of your comfort zone. hard to explain why the rooms seem to work, i just put it down to the people and being given a bit of direction to follow.
