Hi,
I started gambling when I was 16 I think. This year I am turning 30.
I can't believe how much money I've lost, how much time I wasted, how much stress and new grey hair it's caused me and how many people I disappoited becasue of my addiction...
It's always been about sport betting, mainly tennis, which I have no idea about, but I like to watch it and bet on it. I work in finance and I know exactly, how the numbers are always against me, but anyway could not stop betting. When I lose, I think I will change my strategy and just play other people's bets, which I think are better than professional oddsmakers.
I closed several betting accounts and self excluded myself from most of the websites, but then opened new accounts and the story starts once more.
Before I started working, I was telling myself, thats not a problem, becasue when I will start working I will make enough money, that what I was loosing then would not much difference. Now, I am making decent money, but since I started working I've saved nothing, just created debts. Anyway, I am telling myself, in March I start a new, better paid job abroad and it is better to be loosing my salary now, not later, but I am afraid I will keep on wasting everything I make.
I am afraid I will struggle to ever quit gambling, becasue pretty much everything I like I get addicted to it.
Today, I told myself, its time to make a decision, that I will stop gambling and this way save money, time and stress less.
Day 1 - I made a bet 2 hours ago on tennis, if I win, I will withdraw it and self exclude myself from this website anyway.
Thanks for this website!
