Not many of you know me or talk but I'm currently 447 days gamble free , I just want to give u a insight into my life and to why I'm writing this post ..... I used to gamble every day to the point of no return no money and no life , I was lucky my then gf was very forgiving at the start . I would go to work earn my day wage take it home and on the way home was the bookies and we all know how this ends....
Me and my then gf had a very fiery relationship due to my selfish acts of gambling .. after 4 years she finally had enough and we broke up and it really hit me hard , I seeked help through break even and ever since I haven't gambled , short time after me and my gf got back together slowly and after time she learnt to trust me more ,me and my partner moved in together about 6 months ago and all because I had money due to not gambling , also I took her away to Rome as a surprise and bought her a ring and overlooking Rome I showed her how greatful I was to have her by asking her to marry me , she said yes and we couldn't be happier . Now I'm not saying this to brag or whatever but I just want to show some people that not all is lost if you truly do want to stop gambling then prove it to her , show her how serious u are , I spent months and months of hard work going to meetings and showing my fiancГ©e that I could beat this and I feel I have now and I really couldn't be happier in my life ! I always say everything's happens for a reason but I do wish I didn't hurt my fiancГ©e in the running to this moment but now I have the rest of our lives to make it up to her !
