you my friend have an illness, an addiction that has waged war on your life and with honesty will do for the rest of your life. It will isolate you and make you believe you have only one friend in the world, the bet.
Well I am here by the side of many other like minded folk who will say you are not alone and please take all the help there is available. The journey you set out upon to gift that beautiful daughter of yours a better life is something you achieved the day you came here.
You came to fight, you have gifted the forum such knowledge and humility, in many ways beyond your tender years, Charlotte never give up on that.
Use the forum, netline, your gp and those folks of yours.
because the solution as my esteemed friend SA said is in recovery.

I was myself led down the wrong path by my addiction, it had me for a brief moment believe that my solution was to gift my family my life.
that my friend i know today would have been a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
One to which i know the burden on a family is far too great.
please take a step back, a deep breathe and recovery awaits.

We all stumble, then we get back up. This really is the slyest of adictions; but just by being here in this forum we're the winners. Your worth it Charlotte and you've got a beautiful square garden to continue bringing you joy.
Your a lal star on these diarys and would say in the 3d world as well. The future is ahead but the present is well worth it too.

Like many others you will be in my prayers today. I pray that you come back to the forum and find a new strength that will take you forward to a new and better life without gambling. I have relapased many, many times this year but I know that I am a better and happier person when I am active on this site than when not. Charlotte get your b**t back on here. You know that you have to stop. I know it's hard but remember you beat it before. You stepped away for a long time. So if you've done it before you can do it again. Take a step back just take a second to think. Your in that gambling zone and your not thinking straight we all know what that's like but you need to step away and come out of that trance and think why am I gambling and what can I do to stop myself. Is there things you could do like not carrying cards or self exclusion. What did you do before, that your not doing now. I'd get back on here more, start posting and you'll feel the love that all us gamcarers on here have for you and we're willing you to succeed. Don't give up. Keep fighting and you will win this battle. I know your stronger than you think you are.

I didn't have chance to support you in your journey in the past, but it always can start now and carry on to the future. I read your diary, and oh my God girl, aren't you amazing and strong lady? i laughed and cried and you are such a huge asset on this forum.You gave so much away for all of your friends, now please let us return our support to you. You did it before and you are strong girl, it's never too late to change things around. only that little step forward and take it from there day at a time.

it is hard, i never say it's easy, it is a disease which is like a leach, but you can shake it off,..you know you can, you did it before.
You will never be alone, and as long as one word helps you to see that light at the end of the tunnel ( which IS there) please keep writing.write all day if it helps, and it will be my honor to support you in any way possible..
