Today I am handing in my notice where I use 2 work . So I can be a full time mum 4 a bit.

My little one seems alot happier 2day so that makes me happy!

Everything's changing!

I'm sooo happy that I made it 2 6 wks gamble free, it wasn't easy... but worth it. I am determined not 2 ruin my hard work now 🙂

My post this morning was mainly alcohol induced.. I was as sick as a dog.. actually my post last night was also alcohol induced... but I decided not to delete as you're soooo right, it's how I feel and I just need to get it out there.. as Lucy says, another step on the road to recovery...

I've had to take the day off work today.. what a moron! That'll teach me!

Char, I really don't know how to express my gratitude for your continued support. You have such a comforting way of putting things and always make me feel better.

I handed in my notice 2day, my manager was gr8... He said that if I wanted to go back part time I could and there was no rush. Which was nice.

Maddison got lots of cuddles from my work friends 🙂

I'm home alone 2nite, well Maddison is here but she's asleep. My bf is at the pub with his brother and m8's watching the footie. But i'm going clothes and shoe shopping 2moro so it's ok 🙂

I've been watching a film and chilling.

I am feeling a lot more positive, I hope this continues 🙂

I'm going in2 town in a bit with my friends 4 some retail therapy lol... I'm really looking forward 2 it 🙂

I'm sure they will want 2 go 2 the pub at lunch soo they can have a gamble on the machines.. But that's fine because I won't be playing 2day, I am feeling strong and happy at the moment and gambling is not going to ruin it!!

I'm feeling sooo positive at the moment, I truly hope this continues 🙂

Was good catching up on chat last night I know I have not been on for a while. Also thanks for your post on my diary. Stay strong enjoy the shopping and its better to spend money on shopping then gambling because then you have something to show for your money. And like NT said don't fall into peer pressure. Do they know about your problem because if they do then they wouldn't gamble in front of you.

Great job on the gambling front, and I applaud you for taking a time out from working to spend more time with your kids, thats a hard thing for anyone to do, especially financially, but you are putting your familys happiness first before anything, and that deserves massive credit. Once again a sure sign of the maturity and values that you have. 🙂

I had a gr8 day shopping 2day, spent more on Maddison than me lol... But way better than gambling 🙂

I bought a couple of pairs of shoes Blondie, my bf was sooo happy when I got back lol... he said u have loads of shoes, u can only wear 1 pair at a time blah blah blah lol. He knows wot i'm like tho 🙂

We were suppose to be shopping then going to the cinema later, but my friends wanted 2 go 2 the pub 4 lunch which I kinda knew would happen as I know them 2 well. They were drinking... I was not cuz I drove in2 town, then they started playing the machines one of my friends lost hundreds in a £70 jp machine. Money her nan left her when she passed away. I even lent her money... In the end it was making me feel really sad so I left the pub. I use 2 be like that I could see the stress in her face. I was not even tempted 2 play them 2day... it all felt different 2 me.

I got an email from a bingo site offering me free money 2 play online, i've never played the machines online. Thought that was a bit odd!!

I will not lie, it did tempt me 4 a short while.

All in all I felt like I was tested 2day and I passed, i'd rather spend my money on things I enjoy now.

Gambling, sucks u in she was saying one more spin, I just want 2 win my money back... the times I said that and lost every pound I had. NO more!!

That was a bit of a ramble 2nite, sorry 🙂
