Afternoon anon

Perfume in the eye ball Ouch.
I've been there. Also hair gel on the toothbrush not my best start to a morning.

Sorry to see you're still feeling a little flat bereavements are hard
Especially when they come from nowhere. It's tough not to look back at the time we missed with people. If anything we can use this to our resolve to make sure we're not committing the same mistakes.

I'm not sure if mentioned to you previously but give headspace a go. It's really good thanks to lb who mentioned it to me it got me through my anxiety period and I no longer get it.

Good to see your day count ticking nicely almost the 5 months mark now go you

Have a peaceful week.
Maybe shout me a tip on losing weight with out the gym when you next come on lol

Afternoon anon

Dam I was hoping prime minister lol

Look on the bright side you'll have a brand new bathroom and you're burning calories whilst you clean.

It's a written man law that jobs on your own home take 5 time's longer than in the work place.

My injury is fine now.
I'm home running at the minute as I've joined the family up for a new gym which we can all benefit from as they have lots of parent children activities.
It's a little further away but it means we can both go and take the children at the same time.
Which will encourage them to become more active and less time on their ipads. Although they are young I don't want the modern normal for them.

Goals I love goals I like achieving them but I'm not disheartened if I don't. Goal one is obviously to stay bet free. Getting fitter and more social is up there to. Ad holiday as much as possible lol
I sound like Mrs world ill be looking to find world peace next haha

Well done on your goals also losing weight and staying bet free to. Who would of thought we didn't need gambaling to achieve our desires?

Have a great week.

Hi Anon...Thanks for popping by, it's good to see you posting again.

I think that as CG's we will always feel guilt when life throws difficult times at us, guilt for lost time. All we can do is move forward, try to forgive ourselves and focus on making the future the best it can be.

And you are doing that.....

Onwards & forwards....

Well just got in after a busy day, been a frustrating day in parts, it's amazing how some people are sick during school holidays when they have used all their annual leave up! Having a rant! On the plus side roads are always better during school holidays, cuts my journey down by 25 mins. Dog still looks pregnant and is still nesting, thank god it's a phantom x

148 days for me...147 for you. We basically stopped at the same time....
How is it all going?
Ive had a few urges but willpower to stop wins for me now.

Day 147, almost at another target. Well I should have been studying but I've been reading Marie Kondo, not the best books to read as I now want to go and clear draws and declutter at this time of night! Nearly another payday too so I've been looking at the debts and see a few more come down which I find gives me motivation. Opening the building society account helps me save a little and keeps that money safe after everything's been paid. Counted the money in the tin I started to save in when I first came on the site and there's over 200 in it, amazing how those pounds mount up. There's still lots of work to be done on finding me but like myself a lot more then this time last year. It's hard but worth the fight. X

Its such a good feeling when you get paid and can pay off debt which is costing you interest as you are clearing your debts and saving money at the same time.

Keep it up my friend

Thanks mba, my big day tomorrow, next one after this is 200! recap from day one, I've completed over 100 jigsaw puzzles online line, got through 2 adult colouring books, read numerous books on various subjects, current one Marie kondo! Check me out.... I'm getting better with the clutter lol. I help out at a charity, I set up a direct debit to give a small amount of money each month to a hospice, I've been on two huge clothes shopping days with my daughter and spoilt her and me! I've joined a gym, walk each day through the local park with the dog, been to Cyprus, bought my Father's Day present already! Go out for meals with the friends I've neglected, planning on walking up snowdon. Oh puts the boxing gloves on occasionally to knock mr g and mr smoke out! Still got the debts but coming down and started saving. I sleep at night, therefore my mood is better and better equipped for whatever life throws at me. Don't get me wrong it's not all sweetness and light, some days have been down days, but that's normal life. I'm still searching for why I ever started, what led me to it. Im more aware now how many betting shops there are in the high street (they were not my poison) it's awful. Games arcades too, I joined a sun bed place a few weeks ago when I looked the other end it was an arcade, I could see the machines and flashing lights but that didn't bother me either, was not tempted in the slightest. Anyway that's enough of a ramble, best wishes to all on this journey old and new x

Morning and here's to another day gf, just sat down for a well earned green tea in th middle of doing house work, just checked my step count and since 830am done 7340 just doing house work. Yesterday did over 22000 but that's because I did a 5 mile walk with the dog, it was raining but lovely watching her play with other dogs, she's such s lovely natured dog. Little things I know but they make me feel happy and good which is something that gambling steals along with all your money! Still having more urges for mr smoke than gambling, is it just addictions trying to rival each other? Dont know but not giving in, I've come too far. Bought some more new clothes yesterday and my daughter some jeans, new grandchild (not born until end of June) some more bits and pieces I'm collecting in a box for when she arrives, also bought the other half a new hat. I could have paid all that extra off my debts but we have to treat ourselves too, they are coming down and will continue to do so if I do nit gamble. THe majority of people unless very lucky have some form of debt, I think what makes ours harder is that we have nothing to show for it. Anyway have to get back to it, best wishes all x
