Hi Anon, post 30 said you had joined GA but you don't make mention of any meetings only the serenity prayer? We will all keep an eye on you on here but there's no substitute for real life support & the GA rooms are full of that!

Congratulations on day 9 🙂 You're not alone but it is a long, hard journey & there is no pill unfortunately so take all the help you can get & keep fighting - ODAAT

Morning and here's to another day of my life that I am claiming myself and not giving it to the addiction . Morning ODAAT, yes I did join GA and found out a number of meetings that are in my area but need to go out of area for fear of being recognised. I have a public facing role and my name is out in the public domain. I go abroad on Sunday for 8 days and plan to start them when I get back. I have all the information ready about the sponsor , steps etc . I will beat this that has took my life since 2010 .

Morning and thank you Lady H, and yes I sure will. Day 10 of gamble free and tomorrow will be the same and the next and next as I begin to return to the person I once was. Going to work and busy day as it's my last day as I go on annual leave today for just over a week, so lots of bits and pieces to sort. Good luck to all speak later x

Hello hello well another day, stressful day at work and that could have been a trigger but it wasn't, still feeling strong, all blocks still in place , I've noticed on here that some people only post for a couple of days and then you don't seem them again, what happens to them do they go back to gambling ? Are they suffering alone? Anyway another day almost over for me, keeping the faith and remaining gf.

I'm on holiday from tomorrow so there will be a gap of 10 days so by the time I'm back I will be on day 21 and achieved my first target of 20 days. So here is the next 45 days target, I'm going to smash it and drop kick this awful habit x best wishes to all on this journey with me x x

Thanks Alan, washing all done, one of the things I've found since giving up is the amount of time I have now to do other stuff. Before I'd have put one lot of washing on, fired up the laptop and started spinning the awful slots and then the day along with my money would have gone. How many of us on here fell into the trap of being up but several hours later had lost it and more, I would say pretty much all,of us, how pointless it seems now. How boring, just click click click, spin spin spin, any way I'm almost 21 days and proud of myself . And it's not because I've no money, there has been nearly two hundred in the bank for several weeks, and I'm not spending 1p of it on the evil g. Work tomorrow so nite nite from me x x

Morning back to work on this raining day in England after being in 30-31 degrees , what a shocker to the body but on the plus side no slots! MInd clear from worrying about any losses from the night or day before etc., working towards my next target of 45 days. Good luck to all on this journey, tip to stay strong is to remember how c**P you feel after you have played, how much time lost to which you can never get back, that's more precious then money. X x
