Day 58 gf. I have been on the chats nearly every day since I stopped gambling. Chatting to like minded people really helped. Reading peoples stories here gives inspiration and keeps things real. It's frightening how bad it can get but it does get easier. It took the honesty of people who were at rock bottom to write their stories to help themselves but it really helped others. Reading weird fishes diary showed how destructive an illness gambling can be but it shows with determination and the right outlook that it can be beaten. Thanks to everyone in the chatrooms and the gamcare team for allowing me to be on a happier journey now. I got out at the right time before debt became a big issue.

Day 60 gf have had no urges to gamble which is great...I found myself last night contemplating playing a live poker tournament in a local hall with a 30 pound entry (chips tournament). ... I didn't go but am interested if anyone saw it as gambling.
