Hi Andy,

Thank you for the update.

How have things been since Monday? How is the gym going? Are you feeling better for it?

The fact you are being honest with yourself, and now others, is an important part of your recovery. Well done for banning yourself from online betting sites. There are a few out there, so you may want to have a read through a couple of pages on our site, to see if there is anything else you can do, to help you when you get urges. Try and learn from the past days:

Please keep reading and posting on the forum, when you can.

Warm regards

Rob

Hi Hazza

Welcome back to the diaries.

I hope you've managed to steer clear of the bookies and the poison that is FOBTs. They are the worst thing that happened to me without a single doubt.

If there are three you have to walk past regularly, the self exclude. I have from two regular ones, but as there as so many of the d**n places, I now have taken to taking different routes.

Well done for self excluding from your online ones. Would really recommend blocking software as well. Did that back in March and haven't gambled online since.

You're only 19, nip it in the bud now if I were you. I'm just happy that online gambling and FOBTs weren't about when I was 19, dread to think what would've happened then!

Good luck to you fella, let us know how you are getting on.

M
