Call the helpline instead? Instead, not afterwards?

Sure but maybe call anyway? Fighting internal battles with yourself with the time money location intact isn't to be recommended.

What brought the urge on?

Payday yesterday and it's become a habit or ritual to gamble the first week, force of habit or thinking 10 pounds won't hurt (I know it does and leads to more money being spent?)

Remember how chuffed you was this time last night when you didn't gamble on payday. Carry that thought over to today.

To put my sensible head on you said the blocks are in place maybe it's worth adding a few more blocks like blocking software or broadband restrictions and self excluding from the sites.

I'm sure it will pass but they will come back again so try and make it as hard as you can to place that 1st bet.

Nothing to gain in having a bet. What would you do if you won? Cash out go but something nice No you'd just carry on till it was gone and then deposit more to chase what you lost.

Do I need to come down to Chad and give your head a wobble.
