I have been off and on with gambling for over 11 years. I phoned Gamstop about 3 years ago . and I have never gambled online since. The trouble I still had was the bookies. Then lock down happened last year so I was ok till summer when they opened back up. I went for counselling and the wonder Alison made me see things another way. And since then I have not gambled . Anyway today I went into town for a shopping day out I walked past the bookies and saw the lights on I didn't dare go in as I'm not going back there.Â
I just wanna say its the longest I have ever not gambled since I first ever did. over 200 days my last record was 50 Days. Just goes to show it can be done. So I hope you are all giving it a really good try.

Well done Carl, glad the counselling has helped and youve done well first to get the blocks online..then to get gambling then to avoid going into the bookies.

Well done. Wish my bf had your strength. He is self blocked from online gambling. The lockdown helped him but now its lifted again.....the lies have started again becuase the gambling has.
 But i am very pleased for you. Keep going. My only wish is that bf will get the help he tells me he so desperately wants. Â
