Fun day yesterday with an afternoon swim followed by an evening at the cinema. " Mama Mia Here We Go Again." Which I really enjoyed.
A gamble free life OH what will it bring?
Haven't a clue BUT i'll laugh, smile and sing
No time to be bitter, ungrateful or rude I'M gonna be a dude with gratitude
I journey forth to freedom singing a happy song
The craziness behind me now and i'll keep rocking on
Full of hope and blinkered I know not where i'm bound
But i'll avoid the betting shops and have a look around
Life is an ocean we floundered about
Gambling left us bereft and with nowt
Fortunes were lost but when all's said and done
It was our own choice and we knew what we'd done
Is it too late? some doubters may ask
To conquer the fears and take off the mask
Or is a life waiting not far ahead
Where we can sleep soundly at peace in our bed.
