Hi guys.... I've achieved 19 days today and still going strong. In answer to the above questions, I haven't bothered with the betting shop self exclusion, as I have a job where I travel and it would be impossible to be recognised in so many. The not carrying cash is working for me though! In terms of the online side I have self excluded from pretty much every site out there!!
I'll keep up my good work and continue to check in!
Oh, and Sam... when I hit 105 days I fully intend to remain gamble free as I don't need anymore visits to the dark times I've faced
I thought there was a way were you could self-exclude nationally? Maybe I'm wrong but I know there is a post by GamCare on the subject elsewhere on the forum.
Well a week on from my last post and I've achieved 26 days now... the month mark is approaching. Pay day next week so my guard is up!!!
Another week on and I'm at Day 33 now 🙂
I was enticed into the bookies today with a work colleague, and although I had a few quid in my pocket I didn't invest any!!

Hi mate don't think it's a good idea to be going in any bookie no matter how many people enticed u to pop in with them .u know wot could happen . 33 days is a great achievement but your friend probably won't know that .stay out no matter wot u hold the choice make the right 1s & beat the bookies once & for all. Well It's been a while so I thought I'd return and update... I'm at 79 days gamble free today.... 3 weeks away from the big 100 again. I've not really had any urges at all, so I'm hoping to beeeze past the 100 mark
