That's amazing well done ! ?and so encouraging ? guess I have a way to go yet but my 45 days free of gambling is massive for me and look forward to being 1000 days free from gambling.. I get triggered by the ads on TV and there's always an awkward silence when they come on which is often guess my partner wonders is she going to start again but I'm confident now and determined

@r1p7euasno Hey thanks. A few things I'd say is well firstly thanks for the kind comment and I wish you well. Secondly, my brief summary is gambled very badly over a year period and couldn't bare letting people know, after the 1st time I used sheer will power to avoid it for 8 years then relapsed. Lastly, one person replied to my 1st post I made 1000 days ago saying that ten thousand days was a ridiculous target and I shouldn't be posting it - not my only motivation to prove them wrong as it will take me to 30years plus gamble free ha.
The awkward silence I get, if I were you I'd try to own it in time and comment when adverts are on, one discussion will mean you don't need to do it again and it will take the awkwardness out of it. Your partner could be thinking loads of positive or negative things you don't know about.
You are stronger than even you know yourself, discipline is key, focus on what makes you great!
