Well done on the 47 days.

We can all succeed in our own way.

at 16:41 and 8 seconds (if you been reading my diary youll know why i know this) today its 49 days (7 weeks)...thanks to all you guys for supporting me,these have been the longest 7 weeks of my life but in time i can slowly see the benefits...i have managed to get down the library today (off work today so have to stop boredom factor kicking in and distracting me to the dreaded bookies)to be on the forums and i can say its much much easier posting on a computer than it is from a mobile phone lol....keep up the good work folks...today i will not bet... i can do this folks and so can you..

You can do this, and are doing it. great progress mate, sometimes we think our lifes are no different with or without gambling, but trust me it is much better. I think we can easily forget and forgive the dispair and misery put us in. keep working at it and you will see the rewards im sure.

Thank you so much for the post, i couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome! I found that when i went 3 months last time that the hardest bit was the first week or two. I'm definately experiencing that now but it doesn't half help when you get the support from people like you. Well done on your journey so far, 7 weeks is really fantastic. All i can say is keep a clear mind and don't think that if you have a few small bets your over it, these are sneaky urges and urges that i acted on! Its not worth it.

Good luck in your recovery, i'm with you on this one mate, congratulations on your efforts so far and thanks for the motivating post!

It's hard to get a seat in your diary these days mate what with all your supporters queuing to say a nice word. I think you might just be the most popular man on Gamcare mate and with good reason!
