Hi Winning,

Thanks for looking after me on my diary. I love how you referred to my girl as "bairn"...really lovely 🙂

Yeah, credit cards eh. I used to be so responsible with ours until gambling came into my life. So, you bought a conservatory with yours...i reckon with my gambling spend i could easily have bought the conservatory plus the house attached to it! Having a little joke...it's serious stuff... but if i dont try to make light of it I would cry.

Keep going Winning. We can do it...yes we can!

Jas xx

thanks for the continued support guys. . It really is appreciated. . Im pleased to say its been another bet free day. .Tomorrow is another pay day and although i dont have much left after bills debts etc i certainly feel in control enough not to blow it away punting. . I get paid 4 weekly instead of monthly so its 13 pays per annum instead of 12. . Particulary looking forward to april where i will get 2 pays so by payin bills debts etc i should have wee bit left over for myself. . Ive had many chances in the past to do this but you all know where i put that spare cash. . Today i did not bet tomorrow i wont bet. . We can do this folks. . Keep up the good work. .

Well done mate, your doing well! Pay days always the big tester! Its good that your thinking clearly about debts and bills etc, gambling has a way of convincing you that you can afford to gamble it away. Good that you can afford to treat yourself too, you deserve it!

Thank you fpr the post wp i remeber the day you joined it is so haard and at least i feel your positivity. Plan ahead and reward yourself with praise and get pleasure in what you don't bet. Thats the good side of recovery. Well done. I have one ambition to reach one full year although i know it still has to be one day at a time. Maybe speak in chat.

Well done for getting past pay day wp, a really weak time for all gamblers.

My gambling was never as bad when I got paid weekly but when it changed to monthly I used to always take out a wad on payday and have a big gambling session.

One strategy was to have 2 accounts, one for paying all the bills and the other for spare cash, in other words gambling. I eventually stupidly changed back to one and ran behind with the bills.

What idiots we are with gambling glasses on!

Hi wp

Roll on April m8 2 pay days.

I myself get paid weekly and if it was monthly during my gambling days then i would be in the gutter somewher now.(not that i wasnt far off anyway). But a cg doesnt think too far ahead only to the next race, spin or number etc.I think you have found the winning formula now though kid,you are doing just fine keep it up Jeff.

Thanks for the post wp. The football is on and if I win it goes towards debts, not back to the bookies.

Have a good weekend.
