Hi wp,

Thanks for the post. You are always there with a supporting word when i need it. Top man.

I'm chuffed to bits for you getting through last week without having a bet. It's weird because i hadn't given much thought to the racing over the last few months but everywhere i looked last week it was staring me in the face!

Keep up the fight wp.

Hey wp! just wanted to wish you a belated congrats on your 90 days free! Thats a massive achievement. Well done on getting through cheltenham as well. I didn't go near cheltenham but unfortunatlely that d**n golf got me again. I read back over my diary today and I really appreciate all the support you have given me. I completely understand why you were getting so frustrated with me. Its because you care. You are a great man. I hope I can emulate your success . I'm starting from Day 1 again today. I hope this day next week I'm on day 8. I am very week right now and need a lot of meetings. Stay strong wp you are an inspiration

Hi Post,

Well done on getting through Cheltenham this week mate, and thanks for your post on my diary. I haven't bet anything but god d**n it was hard this week. I've done more overtime than I care to mention, and even sat with the gossip queens at work rather than the lads to avoid the obvious racing talk. Hell on earth lol. Another gamble free week coming up for both of us!!!

Stay Strong

Steve

Hi wp,

Congrats on getting through Cheltenham, giving it no more than your thoughts is certainly achievement enough....personally I know I'm dreading the big betting event of football... the world cup this summer, some of the less meaningful games are just bet-fodder to keep me interested.

For those who're able to bet responsibly then I suppose it's entertaining and fun, but I'm with you on the abstinence.

All the best mate, and good luck for another gamble-free week.

Ryan

Hi Winning post thanks for your post and i'm glad you find my recovery helps. I was worried that i just go on and on and make it look easy. Believe me it is not easy it is so hard but most of why i am recovering is down to my personality. I hate losing and i hate being controlled and gambling was doing both so i am now stubborn and won't let it back in.

Keep safe and i hope you were good at the races?

Hi wp,

Isnt it strange this time last week we were just preparing for Chelters yet now its long gone. I like your idea of getting away nest year. Sadly my job doesnt allow that flexibility for holidays but I wish it did.

Hope you're not working too hard

earlies again this week folks. . Very tiring starting work in middle of night. . Funny this time last week i had all the battle plans in place and was so hyped up yet this week feels bit subdued though its not to say am letting my guard down. . In fact yesterday i passed a point to point meeting on my train and got a wee buzz inside me for a few minutes.it soon disappeared but just shows them demons are only sleeping inside us. . Have to find a way to kill them off for good. . Every day bet free may just do that. . Stay strong folks we can do this. .

POST = Positivity Overcomes Stupid Thoughts

I wonder how many others subconsciously chose names that can mean something in our recoveries?
