well back to work for you this week wp.....,reading your posts all last week it seems a bit of progress is being made with your ex...,that can only be a good thing,whether you can get back together or just be very amicable for the sake of the bairn,i wish you all the good fortune your efforts deserve.keep up the great work.

thanks for your excellent support guys. . Yes back into swing of grafting after having last week off. . Sad to see curly retire from the diaries tonight but wish him every success in the future. . I suppose we cant hang around these diaries forever. . When i finished tonight though i was invited out on a riverside walk with my ex and bairns. . Thoroughly enjoyed it and what does that cost. . Hee haw 🙂 today i did not bet tomorrow i wont bet. . We can do this folks. .

Just checked the news before replying to your post mate---seems no bodies have been found in a river near you so I take it that the walk with the ex passed without major incident!!!

I think it is great in a way that Curly has moved on as he says he is now content with how he feels. I am sure he will pop in to the diaries in the future.

Hope you are settling back into work this week as it is always difficult after a break, why not drive the train a lot slower until you get used to it again!

Thanks very much for the post on my diary. I can assure you that you have not lost a friend. I'll still be chipping in on this and other diairies from time to time.

I've said before that i have been totally overwhelmed by the amount of support i have had from you and others since i signed up here. I too feel like i have many new friends and in a perverse way i am glad that something good has come from the reckless gambling that brought me here in the first place.

I've total admiration for every single person on here but i find your story particularly inspiring. You are teaching me a lesson in what can be achieved with total determination.

lads,lads,lads....i was reaching for the tissues there till ole stumps put me in my place :-)...these diaries are for us all and if i can be of any help to someone then al do my best to post some advice....what my point is its YOURSELVES winning the battle not me...lets call it teamwork because we are all fighting this evil together so when one feels low there is always someone (hopefully) on these diaries to pick us up likewise (god forbid me)if someone has a nasty slip...ive swapped on to lates for a few days as the school hols are still on and it gives my step kid a chance to stay in her own place before being shunted off to her grans.....today we took the little one to the park and that made me so happy far far better than the dark days sneaking off to the bookies and beyond...today i did not bet tomorrow i wont bet...we can do this folks

Thanks for a really thoughtful post on my diary the other day. I wasnt offended at all - you always put a lot of thought into what you say to people and I appreciate your perspective. As for having a bet I cant say how it will go for me but today I didnt and tomorrow I wont.

I agree on the Kelso point - its a lovely wee low key track and I always loved working there. Really friendly wee place.

Glad you are getting enjoyment from the family time at the mo. Hope it continues.

Also hope you arent too upset by that idiotic diary that appeared. Wee need you here my pal.
