Hi wp,

I know the feeling regarding credit mate. I earn decent money and luckily have no credit card debts anymore but can i get credit? Can i f**k! Probably a good thing really. My gambling has shot my credit rating to bits over the years.

I see Gull has reached 4 years. Amazing stuff. I reckon your journey will be similarly successful. Your determintation is admirable. I hope it is also contagious.

Keep it up mate. Loving your work as always.

Keep your chin up mate about phone business. It's just one of those things we all have to grin and bear isn't it. Proper pain though!! All the best staying away from gambling this weekend.

Hi wp

Really compassionate post on my diary and it meant a lot. Even when you have your own hiccups on the recovery road you are always thinking of other people and its such an admirable quality.

I hope you have had a decent weekend and thanks for the email offer - I will def keep that in mind as this issue could be a recurring one!

Was sad to miss perth this week as I love it and the social aspect in particular. Found it difficult not to go but it was a complicated issue and while I could easily have gone and not gambled, I had more than that to consider this time.

Cheers for being there mate

Eyes X

Hi wp

Sorry to hear you lost out on a good deal! It just shows how destructive gambling can be! In a way though sometimes its good to remember how evil it is and be reminded of the consequences. In recovery especially after not gambling for a while its easy to feel like your over it and feel like your cured, maybe its a good reminder for you. Just trying to look on the positive side of things 🙂

Anyway glad things are still ok mate,

Jimmy

Hi Post, do not take the knock back on the phone as anything personal--I got the same a few weeks ago. I think initially the girl put the info in wrong-she put the wrong house number, then she put my new company in as the owner but said I had the business at my home which was also not right!! In the end had to get my phone in my wife's name.

Hope you have had a good weekend--I had a great one over in Ireland.

Did you hear about the Irish phone call--Is that Dublin double 2, double 2, double 2.

No this is Dublin 2-2-2-2-2-2

-Oh I am sorry to have disturbed you

Don't worry I had to get up to answer the phone!!!!

All the best

Thanks for your continued support folks...managed to get myself a new phone but bit more expensive tarriff..the main thing that attracted me was gettin money back as money very tight so its came in.handy till Friday payday lol.

.the reason I got deal was because the company I was with were happy with my payments...anyways been blamk few days as am.still tryin to work d**n thing...Had my 2nd last councilling session yest and all is good...I can re register again after 6months if need be....that's been full year of councilling,23 sessions, tho I only wanted to moderate at first after six months I just knew I had to abstain completely so if your reading this councillor S. thanks a million :-).....payday Friday and its the extra pay month I talked about a few posts back...bit more for the creditors tho I've treated myself to Scotland s friendly match with sweden in Stockholm. In august...its a case of standsted airport tues night for early morning flight on matchday morning one night Stockholm and back thurs...damage limitations on pocket. But something to look forward to tho...I have been on manys a Scotland trip and they enjoyable for the banter if nothing else as winning match is a bonus lol...will get back to posting on othrt diaries once I get confidence o using this thing...things going well with ex and kids am pleased to report....today I did not bet tomorrow. I won't bet,we can do this folks....

Hi Post,

Great positive post mate. you'll get those fingers in to gear soon mate i'm sure. I admire the way you do it off your phone, not sure I would have the patience though lol. Great that u've got tickets for the Scotland game mate (i'll avoid the obvious anglo-scot banter at this point), it's good to have something to look forward to. Good news with the ex n kids as well. Keep going pal.

Stay Strong

I would argue with the fact that it is a bonus if Scotland win the game mate--surely it should be described as a miracle if they win--ha ha.

Really good trip to look forward to and a great incentive to save your money to have a good time--as I am sure you will-maybe you may even partake of the local refreshment!!!

All the best

Hi wp.

Have a great time in Sweden.

I've been there and had a great time.Lovely Country.

Don't know if the scots will take the swedes on their own turf but even so i'm sure you'll have a great time.

The scenery is great....not just the country but the women too!

lol.

Stay strong mate.
