Yes i know i have two diaries on here.... im not sure how that happened??? I didn't set two up, it could only happen to me and it makes it harder to reply to post :/

You did make me chuckle with the adrian mole comment and again with the bread pun.... I hadn't thought of that haha!!!

Keep spirits high guys.... stay positive and it may just all work out fine.

Keep posting on this diary and I will do my very best not to be one of those who 'pop up' and leave soon after.

Well done on reaching the next step in your quest for your new and better life without feeding all of your hard earned money to the greedy bookie bosses.

It certainly is surprising how similar all of our diaries are yet there are one or two which stand out.

Keep up the great stuff, mate.

Hey wp,

I seem to be on here so late I may as well be on nights anyway! My sister's married to a train driver so I know that the shift rotations are an absolute bummer.

Her husband hates the really early ones the worst though, as they don't have a car, and he cycles to the depot (6 miles at 4am for a 5am start....rather him than me!).

All the best mate, I'm sure that after your nights are out of the way, and you've had a good sleep, you can make some of the progress you want.

Hi post,

I can totally understand where your coming from with the unsocial hours bit, because I have the same problem, but being gamble-free certainly means that you have more 'free time' than before mate. Enjoy the weekend and avoid those gambling demons.

Stay Strong

Hey wp chin up mate, you have made remarkable progress in your relationship these last few weeks,so be positive :),i know the feeling when your counting the hours before starting a shift,it always seems like your the only person having to go out to work at the weekends, and when the weather is nice it makes it that bit worse!!!.Just think about the extra money,it all adds up.Speak soon.
