Hi wp,

Thanks for your post on my diary, it was much appreciated. I completely agree with you about Christmas being the most difficult and stressful time of the year.

I only have to look back at my bank statements and transactions this time last year to see what it was like. Awful!

But this year's transactions is looking a lot better for all of us.

Hi wp however things go on the family front mate I am sure that this will be the 2nd Christmas in a row that you will not be gambling. Sometimes we need to count our blessings and my heart goes out to those at Christmas with no love in their lives and no homes to be in.

All the best

I know what you mean about Xmas adding extra stress. Thoughts that we can raise some extra funds by placing a bet then finding ourselvesup s*it creek.

You are doing great wp, and have shown unbelievable mental strength and willpower in your recovery, keep up the good work

ODAAT and you will be just fine.

Take Care

wp,

Your comment "cant fire up fire without added fuel" is so true. I find it difficult not to react to hurtful comments but am so fortunate that such comments are often not intended to be hurtful, so I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for you. Also your comment about the provisional booking for Christmas day was sad to hear.

Now for the positives, you are doing absolutely fantastic in your recovery. You need to keep up the great work on that because that recovery is underpinning the green shoots of trust which are being nurtured. The thing is that you will succeed, you have been through too much to go back to that dark place. I look forward to celebrating the day when you have rebuilt things to the point that you are truly happy.

Best wishes to you Winningpost,

Brian

Just wanted to whizz past to say Merry Christmas! hope you can take a moment to sit back and reflect on your achievements this year. I imagine you have made a dent in your debts since last Christmas, and won't be feeling the same self-loathing and guilt.

Take care,

f x

Hi wp... your quite corect in that my usual morning blues lifted as the day went on. Maybe i should nick Blues name and Blues become S.A .. now that would confuse everyone Lol.. then again it would be interesting to live somneone elses life just for a few days just to get a different perspective on things.

Anyway am rambling. I hope your xmas passes off peacefully and the egg shells that you may need to sit on have soft edges. Have a good one.. S.A 🙂
