Hey wp my friend. Thank so much for your kind words. They put a tear or two into this girl's eyes. I'm a bit mad at myself for missing your 1st Birthday. Happy 1st Birthday my friend. You have come so very far in such a short period. 1 year of finding yourself and the feet to walk with. Finding the right path to walk on. I found that the first year was a whirlwind of emotions, thoughts and actions. Things calm down a bit in year two. People begin to realise that actually you are serious about this 'stopping gambling' and they very slowly start to trust you a bit again. Time to do some more 'Me' work. Sending you lots of Love and Hugs. Sabine/Charly xx

thanks for the posts...as always well appreciated....sabine you are right....my thoughts on gambling seem to have settled down into year two 🙂 though i am well aware that the urges are just a moments madness away....for anyone new reading this i recommend a read of sabines diary....such a brave and courageous woman yet still finding time to support others...thats what i call inspiring....on another note...has anyone else noticed some postings on other diaries without having a diary themselves ??...i know we are all different but surely they have an advantage of knowing us whilst we know little or nowt about them..are they qualified counsellors ?? who knows ?? each to there own as the saying goes,i guess thats what forums are for ?? anyways today i wont bet tomorrow i wont bet onwards we go 🙂

Hi wp. Thought I had best wish you happy new year today because I know what you Jocks are like--Hogmonay starts today and ends about the 2nd week in January--ha ha

Only joking mate. Glad to see that you are still aware that acting on urges is just 'a moments madness away'--I can certainly empathise with that!!

All the best

Hi winning post....you are so right about the three kids. With one kid you kind of keep your old life going....with two kids you can't keep your life going but it's difficult to let go and with the third kid you just accept your old life has gone! Maybe I used gambling as a bit of 'me time' during the harder months after our second arrival?

As for your post about others posting without diaries....I have noticed it. Maybe some of these posters have been here before under different user names? Just a thought. Anyway...it's about you and your recovery...which is going just fine. Russ
