Cheers guys my partner thinks I'm crazy just stopping smoking weed like that as I smoke it daily... But I've quit fee years ago for 2 months and the first month was hell, I couldn't sleep, sweating really bad in the night. Good thing is this time round I'm working night so hopefully that will help with the constant sweating I used to get. @ I win I'm happy you have been 5 months without a bet please keep it up.. I one day hope to be at that level.. Good thing is I've had a lot cash in the house today and I haven't touched it.. That feels good.. Soon as she gets in I'll had the money to my partner. @sandra yes I know the two are bad combination hence the reason I need to stop.. With the weed it's just a vicious circle. Great that you kicked it.. This website had helped me so much in just 1day.i never thought so many people would be on here and in interesting to here everyone's story and of course wanna help in any way if I can. @volcano I'm going to joint a gym to keep myself occupied from smoking weed. See where I work night and most time I get to sleep on the job. So I get home at 8am and I'll just smoke weed all day and go bookies.. Stating to feel a little better.. Was very emotional earlier but I'm sure that's from the weed. Enjoy your evening mate.

I think the emotions become a bit of a rollercoaster ride when we start to tackle our addictions. You've been bottling them up for so long. So hold on tight.

Something I can say with all honesty though is that your sleep will eventually become chilling rathet than a dooby induced slumber.

Your doing good

Cheers @volcano little update 2days gamble free, 2days weed free just got back from town and although I wanted to have a quick spin on the fobt I didn't walked passed and headed to the kebab shop, feels good but this is still early days, I still plan this weekend to visit all bookies in the area to self exclude. I'm finding myself very emotional atm.. Think that's down to the weed more than anything. But on the flip side I woke up this morning feeling better than I have done for a while. While I'm writing this my councilor has just called and has booked me in for a gambling session next week Wednesday ....I'm real looking forward to it always said I would get help but I never did.

Hi Richard so pleased you aren't giving up I know it must be hard but you can do it I spent three hours last night doing my colouring in lol so it's even helping me with the smoking reLly wanted to play on the bingo but I can't as I've only put enough money in the bank to cover the mortgage which comes out this weekend so I have no funds to play with anyway going to get my housework and some cooking done today as the weekends are the hardest as I'm home more x good luck and stay strong x
