day 1 of my diary day 40 of no gambling still feel lost but onwards and upwards I suppose.
Day 41 today and I'm off to my friends wedding which should be good in currently nursing a headache which I hope disappears though. No chance I can have a bet even if I wanted to today as my partner will have all money and cards which is good. So here's to a good day.
Day 43 today and off to a football tournament all day with the family to watch my little boy fingers crossed the rain stays away.
Hi ste26 & welcome to GC! Well done on 43+ days of freedom - you're looking ahead to the brighter future, well done you!
I gather you told your loved ones about this addiction which is one of the hardest steps forward...however very rewarding and calming.
Keep taking one day at a time, reach out for support (its out there for the taking) & be kind to you. Future is in your hands, make it work...make your life a happy and fulfilling one so you can look back and smile for making the most important decision - accepting the defeat by this gambling monster and opening the door to recovery.
Wish you well, b proud
