Day 29
Thanks for the u tube Rach...................I did have a huge smile and giggle. I did try to guess what it was before opening....guessed wrong! I thought it may have been "wombling merry xmas"
Feeling much better today......havn't eaten since tuesday.....hank marvin now!
Hanging my head shame a little now cos have to own up to watching Jeremy Vile..........Well couldn't believe the way he treated the lad who was a gambler.........no help lines up after....he was treated like someone who was evil! I was screaming at the tv "your life isn't over, get on gamcare" Even though JV admited his problem he told the lad "admit you need help, or get off my show".......the lad walked off!!!!! No compassion whatsoever.
Also on sky news there was a bit of a discussion about facebook and on line slots.......Least on here the presenters didnt make light of it.....appeared genuinely concerned.
I think the problem is about to get a whole lot worse with the facebook thing and youngsters being able to use real money!

yeah when it comes to that on line gambling stuff their just making it way to easy now days. hell can loose your home and everything in it right from the comfort of it. just seems wrong.

Glad ur feeling better mines still lurking and waiting think its gonna hit me hard , I think we learn to cope with illness and just get on with it as in the past we av made ourselves ill with gambling and there's no worst feeling than losing money and the reality hitting us of what we av done so a little flu is nothing in comparison

I know what you mean about gambling online and kids I found my 16 year old son had opened an account online and gambled I when nuts and had a real man to man talk so he empliedd the account and deleted the site luckly he only opened it an hour ago so caught in the nick of time but I dont even think the site are looking for proof of age anymore kids will be another untapped market for them

Well as you can all see am back to normal today!
Not quite 100% but nearly there.
Back to work...great swim with my awesome service user.....my god....he was so happy to be going....just kept looking at me with such love.....how blessed am I eh! In reality I probably wasn't quite ready to go back but he missed it last week due to the selfish bi**h who pulled the sickie so I was determined he went this week as he only goes in term time.
Will ask one thing of everyone that reads this...........Please look at the u tube that our Rach posted for me on a page or so back "wombling merry xmas" Can guarantee that you will have a smile by the end.
Did kinda of imagime it was us gamecarers in the band.........Me orrinocco as lead singer, Sir Duncs on my left with the specs, Castle on my right dressed up by princess, Madamme Chaulaex .....Blondie. Thought Flagg was an amazing drummer!

Don't really know how to express myself today.
Firstly I got a lottery ticket from the supermaket when I was shopping....why......I don't know...but I did. Do I care if I win...no!
Will it make me go back to on-line gambling...hell no!
Most importantly...am feeling devistated by the shootings in America of all those innocent children, teachers and helpers......what the hell is happening to the world. How are those parents going to cope....imagine their unopened presents under the tree. My dad died 3 days before xmas 10 years ago...I kept the slippers I got him for years, eventually I gave them to an elderly gent who really appreciated them.
Makes our problems seen slightly less insignificant.
Will post tomorrow to everyone when in better frame of mind.
