Thank you once again for a lovely poem Stephen.  Day 159 is today and I'm treating it like any other day, reminding myself of today's simple, but effective, vow. 

Another few days have passed; I’m feeling tired but resolute - 164 days gambling-free. One day at a time. My blocks are key, and they are working.

Well done Roch. 164 days ???

Its great to have to you here, your words are honest and encouraging and your there for support for everyone, so thank you and keep it up  ?

Wonders Roch! 

What should he fix? 

Consider friend the nonessential! 

Fathom what is instrumental! 

Wisely choose the preferential! 

So attaining true potential! 

Worry not of existential 

Ant hills can seem monumental

Perchance its all just providential

Concern us not the inconsequential

That was a very very good poem there Stephen, so good I didn't read it twice but thrice!

Almost referential Stephen; certainly unprecedential 🙂

Hello my good friends Debsy and Stephen; whilst I've taken my foot off the pedal a little Gamcare-wise I remain resolute and gambling free 🙂 

Day 174 and I continue to ... Roch and Roll 🙂 

It matters so much to me that, as we live our lives, we are living them better, Debsy. It's just lovely to know that.

Stephen, so far as I am concerned, you are the 'rock' of these forums and a smashing chap. We all know, all too well, that we have to dig deep to live this better life and it's all in the continued preparation and focus, but when we do, the rewards are staggering. I'm not talking about money. That will take care of itself; as "recoverers" we have a unique view of cash; we respect it but don't covet it.  A healthy balance leading to a healthy balance. We know the price of things, but the value of everything.  Time, relationships, the wonder of the world - there's what it's about.

Wishing you, Stephen, Debsy, a fantastic week ahead as we settle into what is my favourite month - July. 

Another day notched up. Is it difficult? A bit. Do the blocks help? Yes, a lot. Whatever helps. 🙂
