Wilsy,

Great stuff my friend. You are doing well. I know each individual case is different but things definetely became easier with time for me until eventually I noticed that my addiction was no longer doing the talking. Instead, I began to take notice of the many new positives in my life. I believe this will happen with you.

Tomso.

It just goes to show what leading a gamble-free life is like.

So why on earth gamble?!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi Wilsy,

17 days now, we're notching them up!

Reading this site this evening has made me feel a lot more positive about my situation knowing that there is a support network such as this available.

Keep checking in mate, with every day that passes gamble-free debts are reduced and we move further away from the hell of gambling.

18th day today, living the dream.

Hi Paul, pleased you felt more positive yesterday pal, were half way through our 18th day and I know for sure that you and I won't gamble.

Thanks for your comments Duncan, I went out for some beers last night, first time in ages and this afternoon I might go and buy my first music album in years, to have something new to listen to in the car. My friend who is friends with the lead singer of Keane has recommended I buy their new album called 'Strangeland' so I might make a quick tesco to get that.

Feeling quite good at the moment and appreciate everyone's support, sorry I haven't been posting as much as I would like recently. Have a good day everyone

Hi Wilsy

It's great to see things are looking up for you and you are feeling more positive.

Hopefully the counselling is having a good effect on you.

Keep going - you're doing great!

HALF WAY THROUGH DAY 19.

Thanks Lost yer Mind, I think the Counselling helps, it makes me want to attend every Thursday and still be bet free for one thing. I have ten weeks left and am on day 19 today, so potentially if I stay gamble free all the way through me sessions, then I should be close to the 90 day mark at the end of it. 🙂

Nothing to report today, work is going well, made quite a few sales today so happy about that. Hope everyone has a good afternoon, stay bet free.
