Afternoon,

Sent out a search party and had to rescue you from page 3 . So many posters on this site , which is great that people are seeking help , but sad there are so many of us the 4400 came into mind then . Good series if you have not seen it.

Any ways I digress , the reason I popped in was 2 fold , hope you session goes well tonight, and I noticed on my iPad that on 4od there 360 sessions the band you have been raving about were on doing a set and interview. Just thought I mention it in case you missed it.

Take care, and don't you worry , I will rescue you from page 4/5 should the need arise.

Have a good one,

Dusty xxxx

21 DAYS BET FREE TODAY

Hi Dusty, thank you for saving me from page three, it is always reassuring to know, you would throw me that rope.

I am going to my session at 7pm to see Ella, it will be my third week. Feeling very comfortable at the moment, no urges but am a little lonely recently and have the urge to always be out in others company.

I did miss Keane and there set/interview but thanks for letting me know, I will try and find it replayed somewhere.

Speak soon too, hope you are OK today.

Andy x

Keep going Wilsy, counselling and talking is the best type of medicine for this illness. Either face to face or using sites like this. You're doing great and you should be proud of yourself. Keep strong, Steve.

22 days bet free 🙂

Hi Flagg, Juliette and Steve, thanks for all of your posts, yes my counselling is helping, I was told how much more focused I seemed last night on work, re-building friend networks and life. I want to go out more again now and just want to be myself.

No gambling urges what so ever and just chilling tonight at home before going out with a small group of people tomorrow hopefully.

Loneliness is my only real concern for myself at the moment but I will take each day as it comes.

Have a good weekend everyone, take care.

Wilsy (Andy)

DAY 23 (Saturday), went out with my card for the first time today, took myself down the Eastbourne Sovereign harbor. Got there at 12.30, sat at a Simpy Italian on my own, had a pizza in the sun, had quite a few Peroni's, then my mate joined me at 4.30pm and then some more friends can and joined me after that. Got back how around 9.30pm, a little merry I must say but had a brilliant day and only spent £50. No gambling urges what so ever, I am enjoying life.

DAY 24 (Sunday), not done anything today, feel fragile after a long day yesterday. Watched the football, must say it was brilliant. No gambling urges at all today, very pleased with how I am feeling about everything. The future is brighter.

Until tomorrow.

DAY 25

Half way through the day and no gambling urges. I haven't started work yet today, as had to take the morning off holiday, to find a vets to register the guinea pigs with. They need a check up for mites, one has a sore patch on his back and both need their nails clipping.

Start work at 1.30, so might close my eyes for twenty minutes. Am happy in myself at the moment, just got to be aware of loneliness and boredom but apart from that, I have the gambling urges under control.

Have a good afternoon Everyone

Andy

HI Andy

Thanks for the post on my diary, Happy is good isnt it i found i had to pinch myself over the weekend i cant remember the last time i felt so positive about things.

Its good that you understand what your triggers are, mine to was boredam and an emotional crutch for when i couldnt handle how i was feeling about things.

But im aware of that now and it makes me stronger to always keep it at the front of my mind.

Have a good day.

Blondie day 21 .. and cant quite beleive it. x

Hey Andy, good to see you have got those gambling urges under control, and that you are doing good. We will soon be at the 4 week mark, the time soon goes, think that we have to not let our guard down though, those demons creep on on you when you don't expect them. Pat on the back to you for doing so well, keep up the good work and keep busy, think that when we get a bit fed up with things it can be a trigger, or at least it is for me. Take care, keep strong.
