DAY 29 Completed, delighted it is the weekend. Absolutely skint but the football is on, I don't need to use any fuel to go anywhere, I can rest up and it's only 6 days to pay day, even though most of it will go instantly on bills, but hey I'm not gambling so everything is brilliant, long may it continue. Have a great weekend everone

DAY 30

No intentions to gamble today, no urges, just a quiet day with a film. How it should be.

DAY 31

Thanks Nilboy.

Woken up feeling a little bit down today for the first time since being on medication. I suppose its because I've been thinking of pay day which should be a happy day but most of my pay is being paid back to those that have helped me, rent and car loan. My money just never seems to stretch far and I'm earning less than I ever have so it is worrying me a bit.

On a positive I haven't gambled for a month now and my money is being spent on the normal things in life.

Trying to remain positive but as per normal other life struggles are weighing me down a little and the thought of a speeding fine hanging over my head.

Need to go and get something out to eat, might cheer me up.

Sorry it's just how I feel today.

DAY 32

Just a quick visit tonight to say I'm still gamble free. Nothing to report today really, just a boring normal day at work.

DAY 33

Thanks Woody pal, I will post you back on your diary soon.

Another boring but steady day at work, just grinding it out. Looking forward to watching the football tonight and only two days now until payday and the Bank holiday.

Life is better at the moment, got a doctors appointment tomorrow to see how I am getting on with the anti-depressants, I must say I've noticed a big difference in my moods and they've certainly helped me with remaining gamble free.

Andy

great to see you continue with living the gamble free life.

This time round you don't seem to be putting yourself under so much pressure. The result is there in black and white a fella who is enjoying life.

Well done my friend

DAY 34

Thanks Duncan, you are right I'm not putting myself under so much pressure but also I believe my tablets are helping my low moods stay at bay.

Another day without gambling today. Doctor has given me another two months worth of anti's so I'm happy about that, let's hope in 2 months time I'll be close to my first 100 days gambling free. I am determined to make that landmark.

Hi Wilsy

Glad to hear you are well and feeling better in yourself. I am confident that I will be posting on your diary to celebrate your 50, 75 and 100 days!!

You sound so much more positive, determined and happier that I feel you are going to forge ahead with your abstinance.

Keep up your great work.

Take care.

DAY 35

Well it is pay day at last. No pay for two months. Most has been paid back but I feel good paying people back and I've got a few hundred left for the months and my CC.

Life feels so great at the moment, I even spent £30 on Easter eggs! I still blow my money, always need to buy something until it is gone but it feels good to again.

Wilsy,

I know how you feel mate. Payday when you are skint is the best ever. Having money to spend on something, anything is marvellous.

Thirty bucks on Easter eggs sounds great to me. I gave up chocolate for lent just to P*** the missus off and now I cannot wait for Sunday to come. I still have a large toblerone sitting untouched since valentines day and come Sunday morning I will be destroying that toblerone in no time at all. Can't believe some eggs are a tenner. What is that all about. The missus wants a lindt egg whereas I go for quantity rather than quality so I'm expecting about four buttons eggs in return. Simple.

Tomso.

Well done Wilsy

What better way to spend your money (in the eyes of a chocoholic like me)!! than to spend it on Easter Eggs!! I love them. No wonder you felt good.

You are doing so well Wilsy, I am so happy for you, I really am. Sorry to hear about your team but we can't have everything can we?! Better to be gamble free anyday if you had the choice out of the two hey.

Take care and enjoy your Easter break.
